(In fact, WN is recognized in its diversity commitment.) to pretty much protect them from any hostile environment suits or complaints. His behavior was offensive, but it did not significantly or materially affect others' conditions of employment, and Southwest has undoubtedly provided sufficient training, policies and practices, etc. This is probably well within the parameters of WN's disciplinary procedures, which must be within scale to the offense, and it's likely he 1) hasn't committed this offense previously, and 2) has a pretty good record otherwise. ![]() He has 12 years on the record of being a safe pilot, he was suspended without pay and required to attend diversity training. As to whether he received a "slap on the wrist" is subject to interpretation. OK, the guy is a certifiable jerk and his unprofessional banter created a momentarily hostile environment for many. ![]()
